We
are easy to find from the main roads converging on the Toll
Bar island.
From
the M6 / M69.
Exit the M6 at junction 2 if you are west bound take the 1st
exit from the island or east bound the third. Sign posted
for A46 Coventry. Do not take the principle sign posted route
to the City Centre. If you have taken the correct exit you
will see the Showcase Cinema prominently on your right hand
side. Cross a small roundabout and turn right at the next
small roundabout to filter onto the A46.( If you are are coming
from the M69 stay straight on and you will join the A46 where
the M69 ends. At this point both routes are identical.) Stay
on the A46 following the signs, left at the next island, straight
over at the second and the third island is the Toll Bar island.
Stay in the left hand lane as you approach the island and
following the A45 London signs exit the island to the left.
Slow right down and take the first left hand turn onto the
London Road you will see The Glengary Hotel at the top of
the road.
From the M1.
Exit the M1 at junction 17. Follow the M45 west. At the end
of the M45 you will pick up the A45 London Road. Continue
for some 7miles Ryton on Dunsmore is the last village that
you will pass before you arrive at the Toll Bar island. Go
around the island 180 degrees so that you come back on yourself
on the A45. Stay in the left hand lane as you exit the island
and bear immediately left. This is the London Road and you
will see The Glengary Hotel at the top of the road.
From the M40.
Exit the M40 at junction 15. Take the A46 towards Coventry
for 10 miles, exit the A46 on the slip road signposted for
the A45 & M69. Bear right following the signs for the
A45 and exit the island onto the A45, continue 1mile to the
next island, this is the Toll Bar island. Get in lane still
on the A45 signed for London. Stay in the left hand lane as
you exit the island and bear immediately left. This is the
London Road and you will see The Glengary Hotel at the top
of the road. |
